Michael Dean Perry is a former American football player who played as a defensive lineman in the NFL for ten seasons. He was born on August 27, 1965 in Aiken, South Carolina and attended Clemson University where he played college football.
Perry was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft and went on to have a successful career with the team. He was a key player on the Browns' defense and was known for his ability to put pressure on quarterbacks and disrupt opposing offenses.
During his time with the Browns, Perry was named to the Pro Bowl six times and was a two-time First-Team All-Pro selection. He finished his NFL career with brief stints with the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs before retiring in 1998.
In addition to his success on the field, Perry was also known for his philanthropic efforts and involvement in community service. After retiring from football, he has remained active in various charitable organizations and foundations.
